CASE STUDY 1
Stressed, indecisive and unfocused......and the turnaround to successful, happy and empowered.
Jody is a working mum with two children. She runs her own business from home in Tunbridge Wells, as well as managing the life of her husband and kids, doing all the school runs and caring for her elderly parents.
She’s a superhero – but doesn’t feel it.
She came to me because she constantly felt stressed and this had led her to become unfocused and indecisive, behaviours she didn’t have time for. Her anxiety was at an all-time high and she was on antidepressants to take the ‘edge off’ her depression. And all this compounded into Jody feeling very unhappy with her lot, personally and professionally.
Jody found me via Facebook, where another client had recommended me on a post about stressed-out working mums. She had looked into several coaches already and was on the brink of giving up ever finding help. We did arrange a call though, and when Jody dialled in, she was a bit despondent and drained of enthusiasm. 40 minutes later, we were laughing because in her words, “It’s like you’ve been secretly in my house and head for months, you seem to know exactly how I feel and understand me already!”
Together we were able to peel back the layers until Jody could assess what was important, see what was draining her time and energy and then make decisions based on those findings.
When I started working with Jody, she was at a complete crossroads. She was unsure of where her business was going, was struggling to decide which area of it needed most focus and was in desperate need of help with procrastination and accountability.
They were the reasons Jody came to me for help. But being stuck in business more than likely means you’re also stuck in another point in your life. Your professional and personal life are so entwined and interdependent. So, we went deeper and looked at so much more than Jody’s business goals.
She has been in my world ever since that first call. She started with my transformational programme ‘Kick 4ss’ which increased her level of self-awareness, personal growth and motivation for the future. She then joined the K4 Academy to keep her focused, accountable and have a sense of belonging within an incredible community.
“Debbie changed my life for the better. She has the capacity to cut through the clutter of life and see exactly what is going on and what is holding you up. Then through her deductions she is able to offer results-driven solutions that are both simple and achievable.
“The techniques she used got me to look at everything in my life and as a result make huge impactful changes.”
Jody is now thriving in both business and her personal life. Decisions are easier, she is laser-focused and the family have got their mum, wife and daughter back.
“It has been said that no business owner should run a business without a strong business coach by their side to cut through the noise. Debbie is by far the best coach I have come across. She has become a mentor, best friend and ally.”

CASE STUDY 2
Successful on the outside... stressed and sad on the inside
Chris is a lawyer living in London with his family. He has a successful career, an exemplary reputation, and has always been confident about himself.
"On the outside, my life seemed perfect. I was a partner at a prestigious law firm, my children attended a top private school, my wife was stunning, and we lived in a beautiful home.
But inside, I was falling apart. My relationship with my wife was extremely strained, my kids always went to her for everything, which made me feel useless. Despite hitting the gym 4-5 times a week, I had put on a lot of weight that I couldn't shift. I felt awful, so I focused on the one thing I knew I was good at: work. I worked more and more to try to feel better about myself.
The more money I earned, the more I expected to feel better—but I didn’t. I felt worse, and everything felt like it was caving in on me.
It felt like a failure, my life was passing before my eyes, my stress levels were off the scale, my wife was sick of me and we were on the path to separation. I even started loosing my mojo at work. But, I had no idea what to do to fix it. I was at my breaking point and didn't know where to turn until a friend recommended Debbie to me.
I rarely write testimonials, but what Debbie has done for me is extraordinary. If my experience can help someone else find the support and clarity they need through Debbie, then it's worth sharing.
Debbie worked closely with me, helping me to break free from my addiction to constantly being busy, focusing only on work, and feeling stressed all the time. She taught me why I needed to start letting go of my need to always be in control and gave me tools to relax and truly enjoy life.
Through our work together, I was able to dissolve numerous limiting beliefs, negative thoughts, self-doubt, and overwhelming guilt and fear. The transformation I've experienced is profound—I feel more present and connected to my life than ever before. While this journey is ongoing, daily challenges now feel manageable. My relationship with my wife has never been better, and my kids now come to me as well, making me feel valued and involved. I'm finally living life, and it feels great.
Our sessions were held over Zoom, making it easy to fit into my hectic schedule. Additionally, Debbie was always available to respond to my messages, providing unwavering support. It's rare to find someone who genuinely offers and delivers that level of commitment. Thank you so much, Debbie!"

CASE STUDY 3
One way ticket to imminent burnout ...Reignite your life at 40! In fact, at any age!
Charlotte is a business owner in Tonbridge and mum to two children. Life is always go, go, go. As a result, she was spinning too many plates and waiting for one or two of them to drop in a monumental way. This also manifested itself in unhappy relationships with her husband and parents, but even more importantly, the relationship she had with herself.
The chaos in which Charlotte finds herself living means she never has time to stop and take stock. She’s stuck, hates her business (even though she’s worked so hard to make a success of it), hates her husband, hates her body, hates her life, hates, hates, hates… and feels like she’s failing at everything. Plus, the never-ending life juggle means she never switches off.
She is exhausted.
Charlotte attended a free online workshop I ran about how to ‘Get off the Hamster Wheel of Life’. She loved the community spirit, the positive energy and insightful training. She took some nuggets of learning away with her and immediately implemented them, which helped. However, she knew she needed to go deeper for longer, to make real and significant change.
We decided that a bespoke approach was going to be best for her, so we blended the Kick 4ss Programme supplemented with some 121 coaching where I used specific NLP techniques to move her forward on an unconscious level.
In our sessions together, Charlotte felt she had permission to switch off for a while and properly focus on what mattered to her and where all these conflicting feelings were coming from. It gave her the opportunity to re-evaluate. And because Charlotte had just turned 40, this felt like the natural time for her to check in with what she was doing, make sure it was what she ACTUALLY wanted to be doing, and then plan to make things bigger, better and more achievable here and in the future.
As a result, she is now focused on enjoying running her business again. And it’s more successful than ever before. The family have also got a dog – something she couldn’t ever imagine happening – who she loves to walk and enjoy some time away from everything. She has harnessed the power of meditation to help her relax, the kids have settled and are happy and she earns more than ever with fewer hours but focused effort.
“Debz is a rare person. Her infectious and extraordinary energy is authentic, her insights powerful and her empathy off the scale. I wish I could employ Debz to be the angel on my shoulder at all times! I feel humbled to know her and the work is transformational.
Every woman should get access to Debbie on their 40th birthday as a government measure to tackle burnout, exhaustion and poor mental health!”

CASE STUDY 4
Banish self-doubt and imposter syndrome for good!
Anna is a senior leader in a global airline industry. When she came to me, she was divorced and living by herself in a rented flat in East Sussex, working 60-80 hours per week.
She loved her job and was brilliant at it. Everyone saw her as a happy, high powered business woman, with a fit and healthy body. She always looked amazing, she was a social butterfly always out for drinks and parties, never forgot a birthday, and travelled the world to incredible places. She was living the dream. But she felt sad and unfulfilled on the inside.
Despite being a high achiever at work, Anna was plagued by feelings of self-doubt with debilitating bouts of imposter syndrome. In her words, she felt lost and lonely.
Anna found me on LinkedIn when she was searching for a coach who specialised in women’s personal growth. She followed me for 6 months to get a feel of who I was and how I could help. She said she liked my openness and honesty, my no-nonsense approach, and the fact I didn’t share details of my clients on social media. I was private and professional.
She decided to join my Transformational Programme, because she liked the idea of working with a very small group of other women in a safe and confidential environment, where she would be kept accountable.
Anna found the level of camaraderie and positive support something that helped her change her mindset and motivation for the long term. She had finally found a place where she could feel safe enough to be vulnerable, and in doing so she found her real self, her unique and incredible self.
Since Anna found the confidence to overcome and banish her self-sabotaging thoughts, her whole life has been transformed. Not only has she now reduced her working time to 30 hours a week, but she is engaged to the partner of her dreams, is pregnant and now owns her own home. She feels happy for the first time in years. Real happiness from the inside.
“Debz is really high energy and encouraging. Her level of focus is 100% and it’s inspiring! She’s really good at building accountability and not afraid to call it out and challenge. Exactly what I needed!”

CASE STUDY 5
Stop the overwhelm of limitless opportunities...... and make the most of a new life
Amy had recently relocated to Sevenoaks from overseas, ready to start a new life. Happily married with three children, she felt the possibilities available to her were endless.
Before relocating, Amy had run her very own successful business. While her new life looked exciting on paper, the reality was she quickly found herself bewildered by choice and out of control of her life. She loved being a full-time mum, but missed the feeling of pride and achievement of being a business owner – her identity had been lost. She felt lonely in a new town which, when coupled with feeling unfit, made it even harder to go out and meet people or find new social activities.
We first met at the school gate. She had heard about me through word of mouth and when she was introduced to me, after a short conversation I knew the Kick 4SS programme would be perfect for her. Not only would it give her the chance to reconnect with herself and who she was now as a unique and incredible woman (not just a ‘successful business owner’ or ‘mum’), but she could surround herself with other local incredible women on the same path to personal growth.
Amy chose me because of my energy and experience. She understood the value of self-development and already had experience of coaching. She needed someone who was capable of challenging and supporting her in equal measures.
I loved working with Amy. Having had the courage to do something about her situation and open up to me, we made amazing progress super quickly. She was so keen to put all the necessary effort into shaping her new life, finding new interests and friendships for herself outside of the sphere of the children.
Once we put a plan in place, Amy’s new life very quickly took shape. She now has thriving friendships and a supportive social circle. The children are all settled and happy in their new home and schools. She now has three thriving businesses (yes, three!), her fitness and health are back on track and she is an established member of her local community. She feels like she belongs and is in the right place, doing the right things, for her – and her family.
In short, Amy is BACK in control, WHICH SHE LOVES!
“Coach Debz is incredibly insightful and has helped me to see the success in my life as multifaceted. This has helped me to identify the parts that make me happy and has helped me to start redefining my definition of success.
I’ve started asking myself ‘why’ before I jump into something. Debbie made me think a lot about my purpose and priorities in life. I am now more aware of my programmed meaning of ‘success’ and am beginning to redefine it for myself.”

CASE STUDY 6
Unappreciated and undervalued....Beating Empty Nest Syndrome
Chloe is a happily married, full-time mum in Tunbridge Wells whose youngest has just started school. She does lots of volunteering but no paid work and consequently doesn’t have any of her own money.
Despite doing an amazing job in looking after the children and running a busy household, Chloe felt unappreciated and undervalued. Every day felt the same – like groundhog day. She was happy most of the time but had an underlying feeling there must be more to life and was starting to ask, “What’s next?”
Chloe saw me speaking at a local woman’s empowerment event. She instantly connected with how I was comparing life before children to life afterwards and how it can cause a sense of ‘emptiness’ and a feeling of being underutilised.
She came and spoke to me afterwards and said she felt I gave her hope, a chance to review what she wanted outside the family unit. She joined my Kick 4ss programme then and there, and never looked back. She is amazing!
When all your children have started school, it’s common to experience a bit of an identity crisis. It’s not unlike empty nest syndrome, when older children move out or go to university. Yes, your little ones are only out of the house for six hours or so, but that is lot of time to fill. Your daytime role has changed, and you now have the time to do something for yourself. But knowing what to do and how to make it happen can be overwhelming.
The key to being able to make this transition is having an open mindset and allowing unlimited belief in yourself. This lets you grow as a person and remember or even discover your dreams. Then you can set goals and put in place the steps to achieve them and, importantly, give yourself the time to celebrate them.
Since Chloe and I finished our coaching sessions, she has established a thriving admin business. Her self-confidence has increased massively, and the children are all happy. All this has let her expand plans for the future, meaning an even bigger vision, enabled by having belief in herself and her future.
“I was not sure what to expect on the course with Debbie but was instantly hooked on her energy and intrigued. Since taking the coaching sessions, I have reviewed my business model and the opportunities are limitless, my confidence has grown, and I believe in myself so much more.
“My newfound mindset has had a positive effect on so many parts of my life, including my family and friends. I have gained a lot more than I expected from life coaching. This is just the start of the new me.”
